SYNOPSIS

CHARLIE CARTER(25), an out of work writer, has decided to cut all his ties and move to Los Angeles in hopes of finding work, friends, his soul mate and perhaps himself. Not knowing anyone, all alone and lonely... His new life is not all he had expected... While doing research, for a book he¹s writing about strange passages in the Bible, he suddenly finds himself haunted and pursued by nightmares and visions of angels and a sinister MAN IN BLACK.

One night while at a bar, a ray of hope shines on Charlie. ADAM(25), spots Charlie sitting alone. He approaches him and after a brief conversation where he reminds Charlie they went to Catholic school together, he invites Charlie to hang out with him and offers to show him the exciting Hollywood life style. After all, there is no need to be lonely and forlorn in the "City of Angels"...

At a Hollywood hills house party Charlie spots JADE LOVECRAFT, a gorgeous, seductive woman in her fourties. They are instantly drawn to each other. Charlie is heaven.... or so he thinks.

Adam tells Charlie he¹s going out of town for a few weeks, and leaves Charlie his cell number. Jade invites Charlie to accompany her to Oregon so they can share quality time getting to know eachother better, have fun, and relax. Charlie is thrilled. He thinks he has found the love of his life.

When they arrive in town, Charlie is a little spooked. Nothing seems quite right. Jade puts his mind at ease with a home cooked meal and a good nights rest.

Waking up in the middle of the night from yet another horrible nightmare, Charlie decides to go for a walk in the woods under the full moon, where he stumbles upon a strange little shack that gives him a foreboding feeling. When he is spotted by the eerie people within, he freaks out and runs back to Jade, only to find she is not what he thought she was, and he is now caught in a web of lies, betrayal and sacrifice where he could lose his life and his soul...

Being chased by the entire town, Charlie can find no one to help him. Finding an empty house, Charlie breaks in and calls Adam, who reluctantly believes his crazy story, and is close enough to come and get him. Narrowly avoiding being caught numerous times, Charlie hides at the edge of town until Adam finally shows up.

To Charlie¹s surprise he finds that Adam is "one of them" as well, when he parks in the middle of a field where The Man in Black, Jade, and the entire town has gathered to bury Charlie alive and put his life and his soul through the ultimate test... ... Remembering who he really is.
