ABOUT BENTLEYAND THE CLASS

Bentley Mitchum, an accomplished actor and teacher, is giving an ongoing intense scene study class in the Dallas / DFW area and in Austin.

Bentley's effective scene stealing techniques have landed him lead and co-starring roles in over forty film and television productions, won acting competitions, stole auditions, and helped numerous actors land their dream roles. Now, Bentley is going to teach the technique to those who grab the oppurtunity to study with him.

Bentley is a third generation successful working actor with more than fourty film and television credits, He grew up in the business and has learned valuable insights and secrets of the trade. Bentley has compiled all of the information he has learned over the years through trial and error, discussions with top people in the trade, and seminars and classes he himself has attended.

Bentley has studied, and was a top student, at/with the prestigious USC B.F.A. - Drama school, John Kirby, Ivan Markota (VanMar Academy) and most recently and significantly, Ivana Chubbuck. Bentley taught his own class in L.A. and was eventually asked to teach a class at the Chubbuck Studio's in Los Angeles. Instead, he came to Texas to teach you.

THE TECHNIQUE

Bentley's technique is based on the "Chubbuck" technique developed by Ivana Chubbuck out of Los Angeles. Bentley was asked to teach a class at the Chubbuck Studios and instead, after teaching workshops nationwide, he has decided to bring his teaching to Dallas and Austin.
